Sports streaming service DAZN has partnered with digital production company Reality Check Systems to enhance the company’s soccer platform. GoalZone debuted in Germany this past September as part of DAZN’s Europa League live soccer coverage.

GoalZone acts similar to other services such as NFL RedZone in that it captures live highlights from up to 12 simultaneous games. The platform switches feeds automatically when it detects important moments happening live during each match.

Reality Check Systems (RCS) offers a cloud-based graphics platform called Singular.Live that inserts graphics into live streams. According to a press release on the company’s website, RCS also aggregates data from social media analytics company Opta in an effort to maximize audience engagement for GoalZone.

“GoalZone is a live program that jumps from one match to another following the most exciting action live,” said RCS in a press release. ‘This ensures the viewer sees the best moments of each match without switching [channels].”

Perform Group-owned DAZN is currently available in the U.S, Japan, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and Canada. In Germany, DAZN has exclusive English Premier League rights and significant Champions League holdings.

After initially launching across European markets, DAZN debuted in the U.S. this past September at a subscription cost of $9.99 per month. The international streaming platform recently signed boxing star Canelo Alvarez to a huge $365 million contract and the company’s emergence has played a significant role in ending HBO’s coverage of boxing in the U.S. Since soccer is popular across the globe, a soccer-specific product such as GolZone could drive significant engagement for DAZN.
