Reality Check Systems provided a full Identity re-design for SKY Sport Germany’s live sport events. This covered all aspects of their on-air brand from design and animation to live events and studio programming. The graphics delivered covered custom animations for each of their primary sport productions; Bundesliga, Champions League, Formula 1, Hockey, Golf and Tennis as well as custom promo packaging, live on-air graphics, and workflow integration. All graphics were developed closely with SKY Germany to ensure there was a seamless transition of all live productions, studios show and promo packaging.
Following the launch of the LIVE sports event packages Reality Check worked again with SKY Germany to launch the first 24 hour sport news channel in the German market on December 1, 2011. The scope of responsibility RCS undertook included all design, branding, implementation, workflow integration, statistical database development and automation. RCS also handled all of the statistical integration and database development that was utilized by the custom ticker system as well as the on-air graphics that required automated statistics. The six-month development project culminated in a successful launch on December 1, that saw SKY Sport News HD take the number one spot in ratings for sport news their first month on air.
