Reality Check Systems adapted a post-production graphics package into realtime templates for the live production of “On The Red Carpet” by KABC-TV, Los Angeles which debuted with 4 hours of internationally syndicated programming surrounding the 2014 Academy Awards. Included in the elements, were full screen interactive picture cloud graphics and lower third Twitter graphics, which gave the broadcast an infusion of social media interactivity. #OTRC was trending for much of the afternoon and took the show to a new level in terms of viewer involvement. RCS was also contracted to include hardware and graphics operator services for the big event. “On The Red Carpet” productions include live broadcasts produced on-site at pre-award shows for film, television and music. Additionally, there are bi-weekly webcasts and a weekly one hour show produced in studio which can be viewed over-the-air and online.
