Before the 2017/18 NFL season kicked off, RCS worked with NFL Network’s (NFLN) creative services department to update the look of their GameDay Primetime show, which provides fans with game highlights, analysis and interviews each Sunday. The refresh touts vibrant new primetime colors and includes elements that RCS created for NFLN’s flagship program “Total Access.” It includes the GameDay Live bar, which returns for a third year, providing up-to-the-minute scoring and stats all Sunday long, as well as a new slate of data-driven graphics powered by an RCS Foundation data service.
For this season RCS also developed a entire new ticker system for NFL Network and the Red Zone channel. Included was a full redesign and animations that integrate better with the current studio packages. The ticker system that runs in the NFL Cuvler studios and master control in Atlanta is also powered by the RCS Foundation data service and a new authoring application.
