We’re excited to be a part of MMA history tonight as the new live Dana White Tuesday Night Contender series launches on UFC’s Fight Pass OTT service. Filmed in the Ultimate Fighter gym in Las Vegas, the weekly series follows up-and-coming male and female fighters scouted by UFC matchmakers as they battle one another to earn a coveted spot with UFC. Each episode will highlight five fights, showcase rising MMA talent and include interviews with athletes striving to revive their careers.
Our team is in Las Vegas right now helping ensure that graphics production runs smoothly, but our work didn’t just start today. The last few weeks, we’ve been working quietly behind closed doors with UFC and Pyxis on a custom graphics package. Taking design concepts from Pyxis, we completed a full build of elements from tale of the tape to title card, full screens, lower thirds and more – ensuring the graphics package would align with UFC’s existing PPV assets throughout the process.
