For the 2012-2013 Tournaments, RCS provided a complete graphics package for the world’s largest yearly winter sporting event, the International Ice Hockey World Championship held concurrently in Stockholm and Helsinki. RCS partnered with Mediatec Broadcast, a Stockholm-based production company, to broadcast not only the World Feed of the tournament, but also a unique feed for both TV4 in Sweden and MAX in Norway. RCS utilized Vizrt’s “split-fork” execution, which enabled a single operator to trigger distinct graphic outputs in various colors and languages for different viewing markets. All-in-all the 2012 IIHF World Championship was aired in over 100 countries and territories, and seen by an estimated 650 million people worldwide.
