Bellator MMA recently teamed up with RCS to integrate live fan Tweets into this season’s match broadcasts on Spike TV’s Fight Night. Using our hardware and software to power each broadcast, MMA audiences can now view their Tweets in real-time as on-air graphics and react to live comments from other fans. At the same time, Bellator can interact with fans directly during matches and drive in-match Twitter conversations based on real-time Friday Night highlights.

In November 2014, Bellator MMA tapped our Twitter Bullet social media command center to mine and air live fan tweets as dynamic graphics throughout Spike TV’s broadcast of Bellator 131, the fight league’s biggest event of the season. Not only did Bellator MMA achieve record high viewership for the broadcast, with more than 1.8 million tuning in, but Bellator 131 also made Spike history as the league’s most tweeted event to date.
