Administrative assistant UK office

We are looking for a part time administrative assistant in our Amersham office in the UK who will drive efficient and effective operations, providing the support our growing company needs. You will help identify and resolve problems in the company’s operations and will always be looking to improve the way in which things are done. You will work closely with our Managing Director to support him and the rest of the team in their activities.

Hours can be flexible however we would be looking for someone to work up to 5 hours per day, 5 days per week (happy to discuss this).

We need someone to come and help us with various office requirements.

Basic duties include helping the Managing Director with administrative tasks, covering reception and phones, organising travel and logistics, liaising with our administrative department in our head office in LA.

We are a small, friendly team of 6 based in Old Amersham.

  • Undertake administrative tasks, ensuring that the team has adequate support to function effectively
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Manage agendas, travel itineraries, etc. of certain team members
  • Organise social events
  • Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Answer calls
  • Cover reception when necessary

Requirements:

Knowledge of basic Microsoft software (Word, Excel etc)

Some office experience ideally in an administrative capacity

Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to show initiative and work independently

Preferred:

An interest in television/broadcast and sport

Good communicator

Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
